Today concludes the 5-day training on Short Online Course on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) held on May 6-10, 2024, offered by the SESAM Continuing Education and Training Division (CETD) in partnership with the Philippine Networks of Educators on Environment (PNEE).
The training was packed with 146 participants representing various national and international sectors: Academe, National Government Agencies (NGAs), Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCC), Local Government Units (LGUs), Private Organizations, and individual practitioners. The main objective of this training is to capacitate and update the participants by discussing the scientific basis and regulatory guidelines in conducting the EIA process.
This event is organized by the Dr. Rico C. Ancog, dean and training head, the Continuing Education and Training Division headed by For. Sofia A. Alaira with members: Dr. Thaddeus P. Lawas, Ms. Cherry S. Padilla, En.P. Jessa O. Aquino-Cando, and Mr. Robert Patrick M. Cabangbang, and PNEE Secretariat, Ms. Evangeline L. Alcantara.
